Terms and Conditions for In-Home Design Consultation

Welcome to Wintons Teak's In-Home Design Consultation service. By booking a consultation through our Calendly link, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Consultation Fee

  • A consultation fee of $150 ("Consultation Fee") is charged to schedule an in-home design consultation in Sydney Metro only. In-home Design Consultation outside Sydney Metro is not available.
  • The Consultation Fee must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • Consultation bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed by Wintons Teak after the booking is made and the Consultation Fee is received.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your consultation, please do so at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled consultation time.
  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund of the Consultation Fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled consultation time will not be eligible for a refund.
  • To reschedule, please use the link provided in your confirmation email or contact us directly at wintonsteak@gmail.com or call us on (02) 9662 8467.

Consultation Process

  • The consultation will include a comprehensive assessment of your design needs, space evaluation, and initial design recommendations.
  • Our consultant will arrive at the scheduled time and is expected to have access to the areas to be consulted on.
  • The consultation duration will be approximately 60 minutes.
  • If you require additional time, prior to the consultation, please contact us directly at wintonsteak@gmail.com or call us on (02) 9662 8467. Depending on availability we may be able to accommodate.
  • If you require more time during the consultation, please inform our consultant and depending on availability we may be able to accommodate.

Fee Waiver

  • The Consultation Fee will be waived if you decide to proceed with a purchase of Wintons Teak’s products based on the consultation.
  • Any Consultation Fee paid will be used to offset against the initial deposit on your order.
  • To qualify for the fee waiver, an initial deposit must be paid within 30 days of the consultation date.
  • The waiver will be applied as a discount on the invoice for the purchase.

Intellectual Property

  • All design concepts, drawings, and materials provided during the consultation remain the intellectual property of Wintons Teak.
  • Any use of the materials provided during the consultation without the express written consent of Wintons Teak is strictly prohibited.

Liability

Wintons Teak shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the consultation service, except where prohibited by law.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Wintons Teak reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued use of the consultation service following any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the new terms and conditions.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales/Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales/Australia.

Sale Period

The sale is valid from 28 March 2024 to 31 May 2024, inclusive. We reserve the right to extend or shorten the sale period at our discretion without prior notice.

Exclusions

The discounts available during this sale cannot be applied retrospectively to past sales. Bespoke and custom furniture pieces, cushion covers, foam inserts, and selected accessories are excluded from this sale and will be sold at their regular prices. Please refer to our website or in-store signage for a detailed list of excluded items.

Sale Termination

We reserve the right to end the sale at any time and without prior notice. This may be due to stock availability, unforeseen circumstances, or any other reason deemed appropriate by us.

No Refunds, Returns, or Exchanges

All sales of "floor stock" items in-store and products listed under the "clearance" section on our website cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. Please ensure you are satisfied with these items before making a purchase, as they are sold "as is”.

Product Availability

Items are available while stocks last. Due to the high demand during the sale, we cannot guarantee the availability of any item. Products are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Exclusive Offer

This sale cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, or promotion. The discounts offered during this sale stand alone and are not combinable with any other sale or promotional offer.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept a variety of payment methods, detailed on our website and at our store checkout points.

Lead Time on Pre-Order Items 

Standard lead time on pre-order items apply to all purchases made during the sale. Please contact us or ask our friendly staff for items that need to be ordered from overseas.
