Nhi Bookcase

The Nhi bookcase is based on design direction from our client. Its specifically sized to fit into a particular corner of the client's bedroom, where she wished to fill the space between the window jamb and adjacent wall. The matte black aluminium frame provides a smart contrast to her glossy white tiles and compliments her existing black table. Five ‘floating’ shelves with closed ends hold everything from books to potted succulents and the client’s other memorabilia.

Lida TV Unit 300

This Lida TV Unit was specifically designed at the client’s request. In the past, there hasn’t been a TV unit offered within the Lida range. Therefore, this newly designed addition was made at a length of 3 metres to work with the client's large entertainment space, while simultaneously offering some extra storage.

To customise according to functionality is to truly answer some basic questions such as what will be stored in the drawers and doors? How big or heavy would these items be? Would these items need to be accessed regularly or occasionally? How about access and installation of the furniture? These are the questions that will determine if push open drawers are more appropriate than doors or to determine if a flip open drawer is a more appropriate cover instead of drawers.

Lida Buffet/TV Unit 180

The client was in need of storage for his bedroom where he can also place a TV on it. Having to match this new furniture with other pieces he has bought from Wintons Teak, he commissioned a customised version of the Lida Buffet to function as a TV unit. In order to accommodate the entertainment console, the two middle doors were replaced with open shelves. 

One main feature of any customisation service is the ability to change the colour of the furniture to suit your aesthetic. This change in colour can be done by using a different timber or veneer option and by applying different stains on the furniture. On top of this, our comprehensive finish selection includes engineered stone and distressed/textured wood finishes to choose from.
