POLYURETHANE FINISH

At Wintons Teak we use sprayed-on polyurethane finishes for all of our whites. This ensures that the colour is applied evenly and leaves a smooth finish. Most importantly, with quality polyurethane finishes, the furniture does not experience “yellowing”, this happens when the white finish turns yellow over time. It is also water repellant and heat resistant.

COMPOSITE LAMINATE

Some solid colours, such as white are applied using a composite laminate. Depending on the quality of the laminate, it can experience yellowing and can peel when not applied properly.
