The customer, residing in Randwick for some time, faced difficulty in finding a reliable joiner to craft a custom entertainment unit meeting their specific requirements. Quotes from alternative joiners and designers failed to align with their needs, either proposing sub-par materials or exceeding their budget. As a compromise, they considered a modular unit that didn't precisely match their design expectations.

The envisioned entertainment unit must accommodate various gadgets and electronics, including a soundbar, speakers, gaming consoles, internet router, DVD players, and more. To address this, a cable management system will be integrated along the unit's length, featuring an exposed back for easy access to power outlets and a long channel to conceal wiring.

Additionally, overhead floating shelves will display family photos and artworks while balancing the wall-mounted TV. A bookcase will accompany the entertainment unit, offering adjustable shelves to showcase family memorabilia, decorative items, and book collections.
