Black or charcoal coloured furniture however often absorb light and dominates an outdoor space. Large pieces in black or charcoal also retain heat and may cause discomfort in the full summer sun.

A design solution to this problem is to reduce the surface area that is in black or charcoal. This can be done by crafting an open weave with synthetic wicker or in the case of black powder-coated aluminium, by placing the aluminium slats sparsely, therefore creating as much open space possible that exposes the object it contains or its surrounds.

The Elan living set in PR3 embodies this design philosophy with its open weave that highlight its plush cushions and letting light pass through it. This charcoal coloured piece provides a light and airy feel to any outdoor area.

The replacement cushion cover for the Elan PR3 lounge set is available in both Olefin and Sunbrella outdoor fabrics. Available in various colours to choose from, the cushion cover replacement is machine washable. Designed to house a quick-dry-foam insert, the underside of the Elan PR3 lounge set cushion cover is constructed from a mesh like fabric to allow water to drain through.

A cushion cover replacement is available for any piece in the Elan PR3 lounge set collection. For deep seater and loveseat, the cushion cover replacement is available as a set, consisting of both the seat and pillow style backrest cushion cover. While cushion cover replacement for Elan PR3 ottoman consists only of the seat cushion cover.

Elan PR3 Lounge Set Foam Inserts

Constructed from quick-dry-foam, the insert for the Elan PR3 lounge set is composed from an open-pore foam structure that allows water to seep through. Do not expose the quick-dry-foam insert without any cushion cover on, as dust and dirt can be trapped inside its open pore structure and damages the foam inserts.

Each foam insert for the Elan PR3 lounge set is available as a set, consisting of foam inserts for both seat and backrest. This is except for the foam insert replacement of Elan PR3 ottoman, which consists only of the seat foam.
