Project Description

The client’s extensive collections of figurines and art pieces required housing in various display cabinets and shelving. The design brief asked for a contemporary luxurious aesthetic with the aim to exhibit their large collection and impress guests.

For this reason we have constructed a design that clads the three walls, which make up the study room. The display cabinet and bookcase are arranged in a staggered pattern and are wall mounted to make the joinery units appear lighter than a freestanding alternative.

Dark stained teak veneer was chosen for all storage pieces to further create a luxurious feel to the room and is complemented with a taupe polyurethane finish on the door-fronts and paneling.
