Project Description
The Booker collection is influenced by modern styles of design, taking inspiration from the aesthetics of a modern Australian beach house. It uses whitewashed oak as the primary timber choice and is paired with white slatted door fronts. This provides texture and depth to the otherwise modern and simple design to the joinery unit.
This more traditional style entertainment unit attempts to provide space to arrange and display books in a more coordinated fashion. This is done by creating bookshelves to frame the tv and centering the storage for media devices. This is a very symmetrical and open design, providing the ability to create a more organised living space.
This bespoke TV unit is designed with an additional panel behind the television further continuing the beach aesthetic, but also hides all the cabling between the tv and powerpoints. This is especially useful to prevent the need to alter the wall to account for the wiring.
